Best Momos Recipe:- We all have heard about momos because of their fantastic taste. These momos became very popular in India and we can easily find momos stall anywhere in the city and village. Due to the popularity and demand, most of the hotels has included momos in their menu card. In the list of fast food Momos is one of the famous and demanding fast food. All people are crazy to have momos because it is very tasty. So today we are going to tell you – how to make the Best Momos Recipe at your home.

 Required ingredients to prepare the Best Momos Recipe.

  • Maida – 02 cups or 200gm.
  • Cabbage – 200gm finely chopped or crushed.
  • Paneer – Half cup finely chopped or crushed.
  • Carrot – 01 finely chopped or crushed.
  • Onion – 01 onion finely chopped.
  • Coriander leaves – 02 spoons finely chopped.
  • Capsicum – 01 finely chopped.
  • Black Pepper – half teaspoon
  • Garlic – 04 – 05 pcs finely chopped.
  • Ginger – A half-inch piece, finely chopped.
  • Chilli Sauce – 01 Table Spoon.
  • Soya Sauce – 01 tablespoon.
  • Vinegar – 01 tablespoon.
  • Green Chilli – 02 to 03 green chilli finely chopped.
  • Oil – 02 tablespoons.
  • Salt – Please add according to your taste.

Here below are the steps for Making Best Momos Recipe:-

  1. First of all, take Maida flour in a vessel and add a little water to knead it properly. After kneading it, cover the dough and keep it in a safe place for about 1 hour.
  2. Now you need to prepare Momos fillings.
  3. Take a pan over the gas and keep the flame low, add one spoon of oil to the pan.
  4. When the oil is hot, add chopped onions and chopped green chillies, ginger, garlic, to it and fry it for a while, and after a while add chopped capsicum, Cabbage, Paneer, and carrot and cook it for a little bit.
  5. Now add black pepper powder, soy sauce, vinegar over it and stir it well, now add salt and mix it well, please add less salt in the stuff.
  6. You need to cook all mixer for 01 or 02 minutes then turn off the gas.
  7. Add coriander leaves over it and now your Best Momos Recipe’s stuff is ready.
  8. Now make small pieces of dough, you can make 25 to 30 small pieces of it. Now roll it very finely, like a thin roti. Now add prepared momos stuff over the rolled dough. After putting the momos stuff you need to close it slowly as we do for Gujia.
  9. Repeat the same process with the rest of the remaining dough pieces.
  10. Now it is the time to cook momo, and we need a momo maker container. If you are not having a proper vessel to cook momo then you can use any of the big vessels in which water is kept at the bottom and the momos can be put on the upper side.
  11. So let’s fill about 1 / 3rd of the water in the lower stage and put momo in all the above stages and let it cook for about 10 – 15 minutes by burning gas.
  12. Just after cooking your momo is ready

Please note – If you are not having a momo maker container, then no need to worry, as we can also make momo at home without a momo maker container. For this you take a big pot and add 1 / 3rd water in it and put a steel sieve on it, now you keep all your momo over the sieve and cover the pot with a lid. After 15 minutes of cooking, your momo is ready to be eaten.

How to make Chutney for Momos (Best Momos Recipe):- Till so far we learn how to make momo stuff and the momo cooking method, now we need momo chutney as well. Please follow the below-mentioned steps to make Chutney for Momos to make your Best Momos Recipe complete.

Ingredients required to make Momos Chutney

  • Tomatoes (2 Tomatoes)
  • Cumin (one-fourth teaspoon)
  • Red Chili (7 to 8 pieces)
  • Garlic (10 to 12 pieces)
  • Ginger (A half-inch piece)
  • Oil (1 spoon)
  • Salt (as per taste)

Note- You can also add 4 to 5 pieces of Almond and Cashews to increase the chutney taste. It is fully optional hence you can skip it if you don’t want to.

Here below are the steps for Making Chutney for Momos:-

  1. Take a pan and add a small amount of water, now add chopped tomato, garlic, cumin, ginger, and red chillies. Cook it for 5 to 6 minutes in medium flame.
  2. After cooking all the ingredients, take out the water and put the remaining cooked ingredient into a chutney jar, and add 01 teaspoon oil and salt according to your taste, now run the mixer.
  3. The delicious Momo chutney is ready now, now take the hot Momo and chutney on a plate and enjoy it with your family.
